HOME1947: Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy explores stories of the countless displaced individuals in the 1947 creation of the two nation-states, India and Pakistan. For this exhibition, my role consisted of creating didactic panels and vinyl to accompany the identity and starter didactic panels created by HvA Design. I worked directly with Carina Evangelista, Senior Director of Curatorial Affairs, and translators to ensure the text was accurately displayed in the languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Urdu and Hindi.
