Wampum / ᎠᏕᎳ ᏗᎦᎫᏗ was a public program performed by Elisa Harkins where she incorporated Cherokee, English, and Muscogee (Creek) in the lyrics of her electronic dance music to keep indigenous languages alive in contemporary culture. Speaking directly with Marie Casimir, the Curator of Public Programs, and Elisa Harkin, I brought Harkin’s vision for the program identity to life. My role was the creation of the visual identity and implementing it in collateral assets for the program.
